On May, 15, 2015 National Association of Mediators of Ukraine and the Club of professional negotiators, with the support of American Councils in Ukraine held a Round table on "The settlement of the dispute (conflict) through negotiations and mediation".

The participants are professionals, lawyers, and law students of leading Ukrainian universities, discussed ways of solving conflicts (disputed) situations.

Galina Eremenko, president of the National Association of Mediators of Ukraine, head of the Ukrainian Mediation Center [kmbs], Ph.D., highlighted the principles and characteristics of mediation, common and different approaches of mediators and negotiators in conflict resolution, and touched the prospects for the development of mediation in Ukraine .

Demchik Oleg, President of the Club of professional negotiators, drew attention to the advantage of the parties to the conflict, which, despite its real position in a conflict situation, are ready to use the full arsenal of negotiation skills, for any difficulties to be on its way.

Cooperation of the National Association of mediators in Ukraine with the Club of professional negotiators is useful and promising synergies that will bring the process of alternative (non-judicial) settlement of disputes in Ukraine to a new level.
