On September 15, 2010 at the Ukrainian Mediation Center in kmbs coach Elizabeth Baran presented the program “Trust as a precondition for effective negotiations”. There were discussed such questions as: what is the trust, what are the types of trust, how the types of trust prevailing in the country, affecting its development and competitiveness and why trust is essential to successful negotiations. Participants were asked to play a game to review the various possible outcomes of negotiations, where parties have different levels of trust for one another. It was interesting to discuss how the level of trust associated with the quality of the agreements.
