Mediation in the Ukrainian Experts’ Eyes

Recently next in turn round table, set up by “Law Paper” for the law community took place.

This time the event gathered the best experts of mediation that have discussed the problems of the alternative means of dispute solving in Ukraine and abroad, and have also outlined the perspectives of its development. In particular, Galyna Yeromenko, Ukrainian Mediation Center Director (kmbs)  told the audience about cross points between law profession and mediator services, and also shattered the myth (false impressions) about mediators that prevent the institution development. A significant interest of the audience has also attracted report which was telling the event participants about statement of the new draft law on mediation, developed by an expert working group. (In the short run this bill will be published for its general discussion by the law community). Also the experience on law regulations of the mediation procedure usage in different parts of the world was discussed and conducted an analysis of the opportunities of implementation of the experience into the legal framework of Ukraine.

There were also partners of law companies, lawyers, business representatives, journalists of law and business mass media to take part in the event of “Law Paper” apart the experts.
