On July 2, 2013, at the initiative of nation's leading law firms a club of mediation practices was established at the Ukrainian Mediation Center.

During the constitutive meeting representatives of various law firms and the Ukrainian Mediation Centre Galina Eremenko and Vladimir Maruhevich affirmed the need for the creation of the club, which is sure to benefit both law firms and their clients. As a result of the proceedings an agreement has been reached that the entire activity of the club is to be built in the general interests of promoting mediation in Ukraine based on the uniform understanding of mediation standards, as well as a joint vision of client’s interests being the core value for representatives of this project’s partners. The common interest of all was the desire to facilitate the introduction of mediation practices in the Ukrainian legal services market, which determined the purpose of this joint activity.
