UMC Leader Galyna Yeromenko has returned from the U.S. two-month internship on mediation, which she won from more than 50 applicants from all over the world.

 Internship involved learning, participation in mediation, negotiations with representatives of organizations that provide mediation services, getting acquainted with the experience of judicial mediation. The meetings took place in three U.S. states: Minnesota, Illinois, California. At the final meeting, where Galyna and other finalists made a presentation on the development of mediation in their native country, the participants told that they were surprised discovering Ukraine and they were interested by the scale and quality of mediation in the commercial sphere and in the field of restorative justice , communal and family disputes. About learned lessons, and views on the specifics of the development of mediation in Ukraine, we will speak at the meeting, which will be planned soon.
